I'm sitting at the Java right now, where Sonam was supposed to wait for me, but that impatient bastard left =P It's 6:15, and wushu ends between 5:30-6.. u'd think he'd give me some time to get here... heheh.
Anyhow, when I was writing about Buddhism earlier, I didn't even write about it's views on God! God knows all you Americans want to know about that ^_~
So anyhow, Hindus also believe in Gods, the relation they have with Christianity is that they assert God(s) are eternal, forever, permanent, etc. In Buddhism, they established through investigation that everything is impermanent. How can there be any permanent god? Once something moves, it becomes impermanent. You can't say that the sun is the same sun today as it was yesterday. If we really investigate it further, immortality doesn't exist because the universe itself is impermanent. As with non-universe because after that the universe is born again and whatnot. Well they have a bajillion texts and reasonings to refute permanence, so who am I to expound any further? Of course you can't argue with 100% unconditional Christians, because they won't listen anyways, and if you argue more you just bring suffering to them. So why bother? Just live life ^_^
Arghhhhhhh I soooo have no time, gotta get back, pick up some CDs from Samten and Ruben, then teach Wushu at night...... @L^HKL@#H^Hlk.. =P
