It's been a while hasn't it? =p Hmm... 2 days ago I was walking back to Boudha from having lunch with Ali and Samten when all of a sudden, some store guy pointed at me and started talking to these 5 nepali girls surrounding him. When I walked by, they all looked at me and started giggling, then saying something to me in Nepali o.O WTF... must be that whole Star Plus hindi actor thing lol =)
So anyhow, the next day I ended up going to this fundraising thing w/ Ali where Samten and Raphael and co. were modeling. It was this fundraising thing and it was like a Fashion Show, buffet dinner, and a dance party at the Radisson. It was pretty interesting, all of them were in those traditional indian outfits like dhotis and sarees and whatnot. Some of the guys were shaking on stage soooo bad (well not horribly noticeable, but since we knew the people we kind of looked harder >=)). Yup, it was kind of awkward for us at first because it was like all the upper-class Nepalis and the people our age were sitting at another corner which we couldn't see... but it was all good once the fashion show started. Dance party afterwards was quite fun as well, although it was quite amusing seeing such a different age range on the dance floor.. or people my mom's age dancing to modern rap like Ja rule and whatnot =P
Today after the teachings in the morning we went to eat Mongolian Buffet at the hyatt! It was very delicious, lotsa prawns, other types of meats, vegetables, thai curries and all the good stuff ^_^ After that we played bball at the British School with our team, the Old School Yogis =P Now we're sitting at the Java and I'm about to have a blended almond mocha =D
