winter is actually great for having classes outdoors.. the cold makes it so it's freezing inside, but in the afternoons it's nice and sunny.. so it's a lot better on the grass than in the monastery =P Yup, we've been having our Colloquial Tibetan class outside these days.. quite fun.. hilarious class =P Today we learned how to say "daymn! I like those types of butts!"... ^_~ well, that's what I learned from today.. hahaha j/k.
finally found out the info on the bball tourney i've been talking about so much.. The Hero Honda Ambition Basketball Championship 2003. This is Nepal Basketball Promoters's attempt at organising the first Men's Open Basketball Championship in Kathmandu. 13 local teams and 2 teams from outside the valley will be participating. Our league play starts next week. For us, our first game is Jan 22 against one of the teams from outside the valley (Dharan). We'll be playing at GAA hall by Thamel. The knock-out matches will be held starting from Jan. 25 at St. Xaviers' College. Final is supposed to be Jan 28. Yup, can't wait till' next week =)
