Wow it's been a long time since I trained at a wushu school. It's really cool, Tony got a new teacher at his San Leandro school who has a phD in kungfu from Beijing (yeah, over in China you need degrees in kungfu to teach it unless you're a famous national champion.. Tony has a bachelor's in kungfu, but won 6 titles and taught law enforcement.. so i guess that makes up for it =P). the new teacher also was training Australia's team before he came to the states (about 2 months ago) so he's pretty used to us bad westerners hehe. so yeah, he helped me a lot in just one day, cuz he knows all the little details on how to improve a certain move or jump ^___^. Also saw 2 Davis people there, training on the week of finals.. hardcore hehe. One of my classmates can do an aerial twist o.O that's pretty crazy. Overall it's a good environment for training.. so looks like I'll be able to improve quite a bit before summer ends =D took the Bart (the train sort of.. subway sometimes but not always) for the first time in years.. it's not too bad actually, quite fast, almost as fast as driving with no traffic.. they're opening up a station in 11 days 8 blocks down the street.. that will be REALLY convenient ^__^
new song Tenshi sent me, a Cantonese/Mandarin duet by Candy Lo and Wang Lee Hom.. pretty interesting, somehow it works out even though it's a duet in 2 languages hehe.
