The past week has been pretty eventful. Showed Sonam around a bit, along with Pakchok Rinpoche. Went around SF shopping centre, Embarcadero (to meet someone that showed up late and we left before she arrived, but later ended up seeing her in Albany.. long story =P), Coit Tower, Lombard, Chinatown.. 30% of the touristy stuff =P Had some nice dimsum for lunch, Sonam and Pakchok Rinpoche liked that, never had anything similar in Nepal really. For dinner they had a burger at Mels hehe. That day went alright, seeing sights is always amusing, although wasn't exactly in the best of moods that day. Friday went to wushu practice as usual, but ended up staying over at our coach's place with Chau, Kevin, and Dennis b/c we had to wake up daaaymn early for the NCCAF games opening ceremony. Of course w/ us 4 there we didn't sleep till almost 4am =P ended up just chillin and watching an old old old movie, starring Donnie Yen, Michelle Yeoh, choreographing by Yuen Wo Ping.. titled "Wing Chun." hehe, pretty creative action scenes.. but omg the cheesiest old chinese film cliches ever =p so we ended up waking up reallll early and going off to Union City for a reallly boring opening ceremony where we just walk around the track and stand still for hours.. bleh, sucks considering our competition already happened last week anyways!!!! =P but the bbq afterwards made it all worth it.. at first we didn't really have a spot so it was kind of >.< plus we thought we were rushed for time, but then time didn't seem to matter and food just kept coming in as more ppl came haha. fried rice, chow mein, bbq chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, shish kabobs, prawn kabobs, corn, brownies, chips, fruits.. mmmmmmmmmm. also the east bay ppl are pretty fun to chill w/, so all in all it was an enjoyable afternoon. We went back to Union City to hold a demonstration on stage at the NCCAF games later. It went alrite, i did 30 seconds of straightsword, and when i got off, coach looked at me like he wanted me to do something else.. so somehow i put together some of my old drunken fist and actually pulled it off decently ^_^ stayed about 2 hrs after chilling at the booth w/ everyone and playing card games for stupid stakes (think dares in truth or dare). hehe. somehow i ended up w/ a big jug of Sunny Delight all to myself.. gawd i felt so sick after =P then we headed back to San Leandro and practiced wushu a bit more before I headed home.. yeah, sounds like a tiring day huh? Considering it was like 3-4 hrs of sleep, I almost died!!!

Chai a centuries-old beverage, the word meaning simply "Tea." Chai is a spiced milk tea that has become increasingly popular throught the world. It is generally made up of: rich black tea, heavy milk, a combination of various spices & a sweetner. Chai acts as a natural digestive aid and gives one a wonderful sense of well being. Nowadays you can buy Chai anywhere (including places like Starbucks). People have told me Chai reminds them of pumpkin pie ^.^
