soooo tired =p we had editing tech on friday allllll day, but it was really cool just cuz we got to do what i luv doing even on my freetime before at Davis - Edit! =) Yeah.. aside from the fact that i had to stay 2 hours later to help out my partner who can't speak english well or use any film related stuff well... x.x the day was ok. i got kinda cranky about that but the prospect of partying seemed to cheer me up. Sooo... we get some drinks, plan to play some games in doors before we head out.. it was gonna be like, 10 people, chilling and drinking.. but some of the girls from our floor and some guys from upstairs somehow heard about it and were hanging around down here i guess... suffice to say there ended up being 18 people in my room all getting pretty drunk o.O normally that'd be fun, but i dunno, i didn't really know half the people, neither did my roommate.. which isn't too hot, so John and I moved some stuff and went down the hall to another friend's place. soon a few ppl moved over too and it was fun again =p then we went out and decided to go look for some bars where they don't card (cuz not everyone has IDs or are 21). So we ended up at this Hawaiin themed bar which was pretty chill. When I went looking for the bathroom, i found some underground entrance by the kitchen to another bar. The corridor opened up to this huge room where lots of people were hanging out and singing karaoke. woah cool, a hidden karaoke bar kinda. So i got everyone and we went down there.. turns out we went through the back entrance to Lucky Chengs, the popular transvestite bar lol. Yeah it was pretty funny, Soren and John did Eminem - Lose Yourself and Soren, Nicole, and Misako did Britney Spears - Oops I did it again. The bartender at the Hawaiian place was hooking me up w/ 50% off of all drinks.. so by the end of the night $4 long islands and my thais and zombies were being passed around 24/7 it seemed like haha. yup, definitely an entertaining night. today i got to see central park and the metropolitan museum... soooooo huge =P such a nice area too. i'll hafta go back and really look around one of these days.
oh yeah, so for dinner, Soren took us to this really popular hot dog place called Cray's Papayas or something like that. Anyways, it's $2.45 for 2 hot dogs and a drink, and the hot dogs were soooooooooooooo good!! omg like german style w/ saurkrauts and mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.. soo worth it ^_^
