Extravagant... definitely Las Vegas is the most extravagant place in America. They weren't kidding when they said it's America's playground =P the casino/hotels are all a block long (equivalent of an avenue in NYC.. that's kinda big), and a bajillion lights flash everywhere with huge billboard monitors showing all the latest things going on in each place. I was saying how being a light bulb changer in vegas would be a full time job hehe.
So we got there after being stuck in traffic which got us 10 miles in 3 hours at 2:30am. Met up with Jack and went looking for a buffet. Found THE 24 hour buffet in vegas (nothing too exciting, but we were damn hungry) and ate, went to his place and slept.
Next day, it was time to walk the strip. We started off at Stratosphere and played a lil ($1 worth of nickel slot machines haha) and then walked down. Over at Frontier, we waited for his wife.. so what to do but play some more? haha, for my 3rd dollar, i went next to Jack where he just won $25 in nickels hehe. so I tried playing that type of game (monopoly slots) and on my first try i got a row of diamonds muahahhaa. so the credits started jumping, and it was at 300 and we were like o_O then it kept going up haha. turned out to be 1015 credits in the end haha. that pays for my trip =P after that we walked down and visited every notable casino.. man my feet were sooo tired. bellagio was realli nice.. especially the water show (the front of the casino has a mini lake a block long, and jets of water and light run across it as water shoots up 60 feet.. very pretty). oooh, and the roller coaster ride at New York New York was funnnnnnn ^_^ highhhh drop hehe. oh yeah, had a huge buffet at Main Street casino.. mmmmmmm another buffet muhahaha. notable things we saw were a huge slot machine with a handle bigger than me.. and one guy was winning at it so J red hat never got to try it hehe.. and also super huge hot dog which we were too full to try.. and 99 cent margaritas ^_^
Next day we went up the space needle on the Stratosphere for the mini roller coaster ride there.. test ur fear of heights as it goes off the edge hehe. and had a buffet @ New Orleans casino.. that was REALLLLLi good. I had 5 plates hehe i'm such a pig. yup, some more casinos, and we drove back.
funnnn trip ^_^ oooh, i'm coming back to NYC on the 12th now instead of the 17th. miss me peoples? hehe well actually there's only gonna be 1 person in NYC when i get back that I kno.. but also it's the person i want to see the most hehe.. well.. there's more than 1 person back there.. but in terms of people i normally hang out with. =P
